The University of Detroit Mercy’s desire was to have a consistent, unique and powerful set of marks for the Detroit Titans Athletics that would be instantly recognizable and serve to inspire their current students, athlete teams, coaches, staff, faculty and alumni. They wanted to incorporate character into the marks that would reflect the University’s support and commitment to Detroit, Michigan.
